The 2008 Potato Bowl USA Ambassadors are

Norah Hoverson and Josh Zikmund

 

 

Hoverson, daughter of Carl and Deborah Hoverson is an honor student and a Student Ambassador at the University of North Dakota. She grew up near Manvel, ND and graduated from Grand Forks Central High School in 2007 and was a member of the National Honor Society.

 

Norah has a 4.0 GPA and has been initiated into two academic clubs at UND and is a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. With a Biology major and a Chemistry minor, Norah plans on attending Dental School after graduating from UND.

 

Zikmund, son of Keith and Helen Zikmund is a graduate from Minto High School where he excelled in academics, basketball, golf and choir. He also served on the Student Council and was his class president twice. Josh helped fund raising for the American Cancer Society and coached girls basketball.

 

Josh just completed his junior year at North Dakota State University in Fargo where he maintains a 3.49 GPA. He is pursuing a Business Administration degree with a minor in Spanish.

 

 

 

The Potato Bowl USA is a weeklong festival teaming the University of North Dakota and the Red River Valley potato growing industry.

It was created in 1965.
